Maciej Jabłoński, Ph.D.

Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź at the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Painting, PhD in graphic design at the Faculty of Art of the University of Silesia in Cieszyn.
A multi-media artist. Creates objects, installations and artistic books, works on the borderline of techniques and styles. For many years, he has been associated with the trend of paper art and artist's book. He tries to adapt his materials and technique to the content he conveys. The range of themes taken up in the works are interpersonal relationships, transience, growth and decay, time, traumas. A frequent motif is the face-mask, symbolising the search for the truth about man. Usually the works are created in cycles, such as: "Relationships", "Decay or Development", "Cancer" or "War".
She is also involved in graphic design and DTP, especially exhibition catalogue design as well as modelling and 3D printing.
On the Design course, she teaches sculpture, spatial graphic design, packaging design, space organisation, and design of visual identity systems. He is one of the supervisors of the SKN Designer research club.
