“Many of us realize that the problem of animal homelessness exists all over the world. So who in Poland takes care of the abandoned, injured and homeless? There are shelters subsidized by municipalities, but they do not always accept animals. They can also be overcrowded. Fortunately, in our country there are many initiatives and foundations established by independent people. Foundations in which volunteers care for the well-being of pets, ensure their treatment and fight for a second chance for injured pupils. One of such foundations is the Promised Land in Łódź, co-created by our character Anna Górska. The film tells in an honest and moving way about the difficulties faced by animals and the people who help them, but also about the joy and hope that love and care give.”
Many thanks to Animal Foundation The Promised Land!
