Assoc. Prof. Katarzyna Zimna, PhD took part in the International Festival of Printmaking and Art on Paper FIG Bilbao 2025 in Spain (27 November – 1 December 2025).
She presented her experimental project Matricultura – two intermedia graphic series, Greenhouse and Rough Patch (2025), and led an open workshop on printing with DIY biomaterial matrices and natural pigments. She participated at the invitation of the organizers: FIG Bilbao and the Basque BioDesign Centre. The trip was co-financed by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute as part of the Polish Culture Worldwide programme, and made possible by her home Institute of Architecture of Textiles at the Faculty of Textiles and Design of Lodz University of Technology.
