ŁUKASZ GRZEJSZCZAK – art historian, PhD in humanities in the field of fine arts. He is also a librarian, museologist, exhibition curator, publicist and expert appraiser. Since 2010, he has been a research and teaching employee at the Institute of Textile Architecture.
Research interests include: Polish painting at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, with particular emphasis on the environment of Łódź artists, the history of graphics and books, artistic design, as well as material culture, fashion and customs of the bourgeoisie and bourgeoisie of Łódź at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
He is the author of four independent monographs, including:

Additionally, he is the author of 26 chapters in monographs and scientific articles, as well as 87 popular science works, reviews, introductions to catalogues, memoir and documentary articles presenting the profiles of outstanding luminaries of Łódź culture and art, discussions about library and museum collections, and reviews of exhibitions. He also serves as a reviewer and editor of scientific publications. He develops his scientific activity, participating as a speaker in 28 national and international conferences and scientific sessions, and his papers contributed to the dissemination of knowledge about graphics, artistic craftsmanship, issues related to the history of collecting and material culture of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Thanks to his commitment to improving the teaching process, he was awarded four times and nominated six times for the title of Best Teacher of the Year at the Lodz University of Technology. He has also been active socially for 30 years to popularize and disseminate art and culture as well as protect cultural property.
He is also the author of nearly 70 curatorial exhibitions, carried out, among others: District Museum in Sieradz, Pabianice City Museum, Amber Museum in Kaliningrad. Having provided his knowledge for many years, he has been cooperating with commitment as a scientific consultant or expert with museums and other cultural institutions of the Łódź region and state administration bodies.
He is an expert and appraiser with many years of experience at the District Court in Łódź and the Tax Chamber (in the field of works of art and old prints), and since 2017, an expert at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
Since 2015, he has been actively participating in the European Heritage Days by giving papers or leading discussion panels. In the years 2005-2014, he was actively involved in the activities of the Provincial Teacher Training Center, where he conducted classes at postgraduate studies and participated socially in meetings promoting knowledge about culture and art. He is also involved in activities for seniors. In the years 2000-2020, he was a lecturer at the Lodz University of the Third Age. Helena Kretz in Łódź. He actively participated in several editions of "Senioralia" in Łódź. Currently, he conducts classes for the University of the Third Age at the Lodz University of Technology and the University of the Third Age at the Public Library. Jan Machulski in Aleksandrów Łódzki. He also cooperates as a guest with the Universities of the Third Age in Pabianice and Łask.
He is also a television personality participating in series of recordings for local television and radio stations (Radio Łódź; OTVM Ret-Sat 1; TVToya; TVP 3), in which he discussed the issues of artistic patronage in Łódź in the 19th and 20th centuries and the customs of the Łódź bourgeoisie and bourgeoisie.
So far, he has been awarded the following awards for his activities: Medal Komisji Edukacji Narodowej (2018) ; Odznaka „Za Zasługi Dla Miasta Łodzi” (2019); Medal Srebrny Za Długoletnią Służbę (2021); „Zasłużony dla Kultury Polskiej” (2023).
